With temps in the 70s, it was a beautiful weekend.
I put a few hours into adding a French drain behind the new wall and next to the stairs. So much of what we're doing is centered around water management.
The rest of the time was spent adding more rocks to the new wall.
Saturday was hot and wet, and pretty much all I did was move rock. I spent some time sorting through the ugly stuff—the pieces that just won’t work on the walls.
Sunday, I had some visitors, so no work got done. Sometimes you just have to take a day off!
What a Hot and humid weekend, but I was able to put down another dozen rocks on the Driveway's Southeast wall.
The weekend started out well as I worked on the driveway’s southeast wall, until a sudden downpour forced me inside. After changing clothes, I switched projects and updated the living room lighting. I removed the old switch and the external light timer, added a hidden smart switch for the outdoor lights, and installed two WiFi switches for the indoor lighting. With a bit of extra time, I also made some wooden faceplates to complete the setup. More more walking throught the room in the dark!
Another weekend where the weatherman called for rain, but we stayed dry!
It was two days of gluing rocks together; this stuff takes forever.
